  I've been wanting to try floating for years and was very excited when Epic Float opened near my house. The experience was wonderful and after 1 hour I feel like I just got 24 hours of REM sleep. The equipment is very fine tuned. The air and water in the pod is the set to body temp which gives a feeling of weightlessness. This frees your mind to enter a sort of dream state that I can only describe as cerebral relaxation. They offer gift cards too if you want to give somebody a truly unique present.
